Archive
Archive
The archive lists every page of the guide by year of preparation and main topic. Only pages that have actually been published go in — no announcements, no placeholders. Choose a tag to show, for example, only pages about home paperwork or only those about lost items. The date on each entry is the date the page was prepared; if a page was later significantly expanded, a separate entry in the feed of new pages says so. The archive comes in handy when you remember reading about lost-and-found offices or the online catalogue somewhere but cannot remember which page it was on. Each entry can be opened on its own and the link sent to a relative or colleague: no registration is needed and no data about you is collected. There are no articles by others, no reprints and none of the domain’s former content here, only the guide’s own pages. The tags in the archive are the same as in the feed: queries, home, libraries and lost items. If you keep your own home archive, take a look at how this page is organised: year, date, a short title and one tag — a scheme like this is enough to find any document in a couple of minutes, even years later.
The guide’s archive is organised the way we suggest organising one at home: one place, clear labels, dates and nothing extra.
Selection principle: every entry corresponds to an existing page of the guide; the date is the day the page was prepared; the tag is its main topic. Pages in progress enter the archive only after publication.

Old addresses on this domain
The former pages of this domain have nothing to do with the current guide. We will not restore, quote or move them, and there is not a single old address in the archive. If you arrived via an old link, visit the home page or the map of sections: that is where you will find everything the site offers now — search queries, home papers and files, libraries and archives, lost and found.

Information is current as of the date it was prepared. Every library, archive, lost-and-found office and service centre sets its own procedures, so check them in person or on the organisation’s official website. Phone and computer menus may also look different after updates.
